Holding Smoke

Holding Smoke, a project with the purpose of enhancing the potential of the combination between ceramic and textile. In order to do so, a new technique was developed, allowing the creation of unique objects.

This new methodology required re-invention and adaptation of concepts in the world of ceramics, which created items with visible appearance that misleads the viewer into thinking that they are not rigid castings at all.

The process ensures that every created item is unique, and would never be identical to the other items created by the same process.
